About me

I am a former Utility Surveyor, growing into a new career in tech, including programs from Generation & University of Birmingham. Over the last 8 years, I have been directing a small team on large projects such as HS2, Lower Thames Crossing & Transpennine Route upgrade.

Through my career, I have developed project management skills applicable in various Environments. I pride myself on being self-motivated and being able to solve problems in the field with minimal disruption. I have a strong focus on the quality of work produced, I am aware that my work carries my name and feel I should be proud of all of it, regardless of the project taking a few hours or several months.

My data engineering experience is centered around Python and SQL, as well as services such as AWS & Docker. My studies in Web Development focus around MERN & LAMP Stacks but also cover to other technologies such as GraphQL & Python. I have also dedicated time to topics such as Computer science, Test driven development & PWAs. In my spare time i Volunteer with the CodeYourFuture charity to help others into the industry.
